I am frankly speaking because I'm in this IT Industry from past 7+ Year and to get into to this IT Field almost 2+ Years of struggle. But I would suggest looking into something relevant in Civil Engineer which is related to Designing or Architect instead of Spending so much money and Doing DevOps+Linux+AWS course. I am giving you this suggestion based on my experience.But again it's your decision, and it depends on person to person. Choose wisely

Hello friend, Linux is just an o.s, which can help you if you are 'coding and developing' (unlike windows to which applications run more playfully!). I am not from this field, so can't tell you about DevOps or AWS. My small suggestion is to switch to allied fields of your original subject unless you have a strong feeling to switch over completely.

DevOps will be good for sure. It needs some level of programming to do well in that field. Even in the JD of any DevOps job, they might mention any one programming language like Python, Ruby, go or bash. You need not learn to programme like a programmer, basic level of handling and writing small programs will be enough and always better to have programming under your belt.
LINUX+AWS+DEVOPS+Python/BASH --> And remember to take training from working employees only not from institute guys, because they do not know how these technologies handled in organizations.
Being a civil engineer, not sure why you are planning to move to IT. They are more new technologies in civil Itself. Not sure why all suggesting to learn DevOps. DevOps is not a course. I am 100% guarantee if you learn all DevOps tools also it is tough to get Jobs. You should have real-time experience. But again it's your decision. Starting new technology after five years, it is challenging, but it is not impossible. You need to spend 2Years again.
