The 3D animations also move in three directions, vertically (y axis), horizontally (x axis) and forward (closer to you) or backward (farther away from you), which is the z axis. read less

Drawing is base. The more strong base, more strong building. 2D animation require purely traditional drawing skill. You can use softwares for animation, but it has their own limitation. No software can give you 100% 2D animation.
