Provider is the person who provides the goods to the consumer whereas consumer is the person who uses/ consumes the goods purchased/ taken from the provider.

A consumer is who ultimately consume the product or we can say the end user of a product. And a provider who provides the things or services which may or may not be be used by him, the only purpose is to render service or provide facilities or products to end users.
