What are threshold in Oracle 11i Workflows?

Threshold is nothing but a parameter passed while running the workflow background process. The default value is 50. You can also set it using WF_ENGINE.THRESHOLD := n; . This is used to verify the cost of an activity. We basically pass two parameters while running the workflow background process i.e.... ...more
Threshold is nothing but a parameter passed while running the workflow background process. The default value is 50. You can also set it using WF_ENGINE.THRESHOLD := n; . This is used to verify the cost of an activity. We basically pass two parameters while running the workflow background process i.e. maximum threshold and minimum threshold. For any activity if the cost lies in between max and min threshold then that activity will be executed by the workflow process. If the cost is more than the threshold range then it is put as deferred activity and kept aside to be processed later by the workflow engine.
