The relationship between the speed of sound, its frequency, and wavelength is:

v=fλ,

where v is the speed of sound (in units of m/s), is its frequency (in units of hertz), and λ is its wavelength (in units of meters).

Therefore, f=v/λ

                 =340/(1.4x1000)

                 =0.2428 s−1

Hence, frequency of the wave is 0.2428 hertz.
