The margin which separates it from the legal responsibilities in a business is the context which takes the general population into account. It is implied that any business operation should not go against the wider interest of the society in general. The most appropriate explanation can be sighted by the fact that some firms do abide themselves by legal pillars when it comes to workplace discrimination, business ethics, safety protocols or employment standards but they, on the other hand, pollute the environment or overutilize the public resources thereby disrupting the ecological balance and encouraging non-sustainable practices which can harm the population in long run. read less
