Basic concepts are the platform to a successful learning.Just mugging up is not beneficial bcz class ix is connected to x class .If your basic concepts,are clear thn you wil b able to deal with new questions also which you havent aware of.Forcthis you need a good tutor who can inculcate basic concepts in your rather just help you achieving marks.Especially in Mathematics and Science.
