IdentityI am a scientist in Earth and Planetary Sciences with over 15 years of experience in teaching and research in India, United States, and various European nations. I have a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Earth and Planetary Sciences from USA. I have over 40 published, refereed, journal articles (two in Nature) plus two review articles in monographs. Recently, I co-wrote a manuscript on Mars that might be useful for current and planned Mars missions.
I am calm, compassionate, and kind, and take education as fun and not just as a means to an end -- the ability to think independently is what matters to me the most. For instance, one is learning, and learning, and learning, and one day to your surprise, you learn something that nobody knows/knew. That is an experience worth remembering.
It is the beginning (grades/classes I-V) where we need male, primary teachers. I tell it to everyone I know, "if you can't be anything else, please, please, please, be a teacher, at any age." It is also a great way to recall how you once were.
