The best guitar for a beginner depends on personal preferences, budget, and musical goals. However, as per my recommendations Yamaha FG800 guitar is known for its quality construction, great sound, and affordable price. It's suitable for beginners and offers good playability.

Guitar comes in many sizes, a junior series guitar will help in the beginning as it's easier to hold, brands like hertz and cort are the cheaper branded ones the Indian brands are much cheaper but will wear out soon.

For beginners, it's often recommended to start with a guitar that's comfortable to play and easy to handle. Here are a few options across different price ranges and styles:

1. Yamaha Fender Squier Stratocaster: This is a popular choice for beginners due to its affordability, durability, and versatility. It's available in various configurations and colors, offering a classic design with good playability.

2.Epiphone Les Paul Standard: Another great option, particularly if you're interested in rock or blues genres. The Les Paul design is iconic, and Epiphone offers quality instruments at an affordable price point.

3.Yamaha FG800 Acoustic Guitar: If you're leaning towards acoustic, the Yamaha FG800 is highly recommended. It's well-built, produces a rich tone, and is comfortable to play. Plus, it's reasonably priced for beginners.

4. Fender CD-60S Acoustic Guitar: Another excellent acoustic option for beginners, known for its playability and solid construction. It offers a warm, balanced tone and is available at a budget-friendly price.

5. Ibanez GRX70QA Electric Guitar: Ibanez guitars are known for their sleek designs and comfortable neck profiles. The GRX70QA is a good entry-level electric guitar with a smooth playability and versatile sound options.

When choosing a guitar, it's important to consider factors such as your budget, preferred playing style, and personal preferences regarding aesthetics. Additionally, visiting a music store to try out different guitars and see which one feels the most comfortable and inspiring to you is always a good idea.

What's easier: learning the guitar or bass guitar? Why?
The only difference is the gauge/thickness of strings a bass has vs a 6string electric/acoustic guitar has. Bass requires more finger strength.

How much time will it take to learn electric guitar?
Completely depends on how much you practice. The instrument gives back what you give to it. Also I feel one keeps on learning. Yes you could start playing chords of your favourite songs in 2 months dedicated practice time.
