Why we are using store procedure?

I see a lot of answers and they all seem to be correct. However they miss a very important thing. Its the fact that the stored procedure is there at the DB server side hence u dont need to send some very heavy data from ur side to the server. Instance all u need to send is a call to the stored procedure.... ...more

What are Singleton classes in C sharp?

A singleton class is a class which can have only one object or instance of itself. The way to achieve it is to restrict the person using the class to create object through its constructor. Hence make the constructor as private. Also have a field variable of its own Type in the in the class. Expose... ...more
A singleton class is a class which can have only one object or instance of itself. The way to achieve it is to restrict the person using the class to create object through its constructor. Hence make the constructor as private. Also have a field variable of its own Type in the in the class. Expose a public static method which would when called look whether the field variable has been initialized or not. If it is not then create an instance using the private constructor and if it is then return back the already stored object o the field variable.
