Meteorological drought happens when dry weather patterns dominate an area. Hydrological drought occurs when low water supply becomes evident, especially in streams, reservoirs, and groundwater levels, usually after many months of meteorological drought. Agricultural drought happens when crops become affected.

It is a chain of plants and animals which depend each other for food, directly or indirectly. It starts from the producers, consumers and finally decomposers.

The plants are the producers. They prepare food by photosynthesis. The consumers like herbivores and carnivores consume the food directly or indirectly. When all living organisms die, the decomposers act up on them. They convert the organic materials into inorganic materials.

Actually two moisture  wind stream branch  ,one which moving over arab sea and second branch moving over west of bengal,are responsible for rain fall in indian subcontinebt.Since arab sea branch passes parallel to the arawaly mountain & during movement over gujarat ,rajasthan state this branch never found any obstacle due to this reason,arab sea branch not loose thermal energy and no condensation occurred through whole arawaly range.

Wildlife depletion is followed by the unsustainable environment practices, There are many causes for the depletion of wildlife flora and faunna. Some are described as below :-

1:- Urbanisation - this led to remove the forests for the purpose of clear land and so called development.

2:- Population Growth - People cut the forests for the need of food(agriculture) and shelter.

3:- Diminishing the niche - Habitat of wildlife is compressing due to the anthropogenic reasons, a small habitat can not provide a needed environment to many wildlife  I.e. Tiger, Elephant, rhino (these animals need a vast area to roam for their proper function of living and reproduction.)

4:- High explotatione of resources.

Most of Indians live in villages. 40% of the world population lives in villages. Even in the US there is a substantial rural population. The issues affecting rural societies are similar everywhere like

1. Lack of higher educational facilities

2. Lack of opporunities for earning

3. Lack of healthcare facilities

4. Lack of transport facilities

5. Domestic violence

Transport is necessary to provide for the physical movement of people and goods from where they are abundant (such as plantations, mines, farms) to the factory where they are needed as raw materials for the manufacture of finished goods, or where they are processed.  It is again necessary to send these processed or finished goods to their markets, and ultimately, to the final consumers, both domestic and foreign. A fast, cheap and efficient transport system has led to the extension of both local and overseas markets.  This has enabled producers to specialize and engage in large-scale production with its related cost savings. It has also led to different regions specializing in those goods in which they find comparative advantage in producing on a commercial basis. Trade between different regions within and outside the country expanded. Consumers all over the world can now buy goods produced in far-off countries. Thus, they have greater choice. Standards of living have improved. The main means of transport in home trade are by road, rail, rivers and canals whilst in foreign trade they are by air and sea.
