IdentityI am a Mridangist /teacher having experience of over 30 years.
WORKING EXPERIENCE
1) Worked as Mridangist for KUCHIPUDI ART ACADEMY, Chennai for a period of 18 years
i.e. from 1994-2012 and has participated in all the dance and drama programs in and
abroad playing Mridangam,Tabla,Pakkawaz and Ghatam.
2) Worked at SRI KRISHNA CULTURAL ACADEMY, Vellore for 2 years from 2012-2015 and
provided students with clear learning objectives and maintained a positive classroom
environment.
3) Worked as Mridangam teacher at RISHI VALLEY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ,
Madanapalley for 5 years and planned music lessons to the general curriculum and
organised monthly performances in school which made students feel very attractive
to participate and also manage student interaction environment.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
* Certified in Diploma in Mridangam by Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University in May 2006.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
Achieved certificate of Appreciation by The Singapore Telugu Cultural Society for playing Mridangam to the dance performance in the year 1999.
Appreciated by Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple & Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago for supporting the dance show by playing Mridangam along with Dr.Vempati Chinna Satyam’s Dance Ballets in the year 1994.
* Apart from Mridangam , i also play Tabla, Pakkawaz and ghatam.
