This section helps you to understand more about the process of harvesting after the maturing of the crops, according to the time taken by different crops to grow.

Section 1.9 – This section deals with the concept of storage. In this section, you will learn about storing the harvested crops until they are used for consumption. The storage is an important task, as it is to protect the crops from sunlight, moisture, insects and other deterioration. In this section, you will know more about the storing techniques, it depends on the kind of environment required by a particular crop. Crops are stored in warehouses, granaries and silos.
