Nitte International School (NIS) is a unit of Nitte Education Trust®, Mangalore, pioneers in the field of Education for the last 30 years. This institution was established in 2007 with the vision to provide quality education and has gained remarkable achievements in the field of formal education. Sri. N.V.Hegde, Chancellor Nitte University, is an eminent industrialist and President of Nitte Education Trust, which is running more than 26 educational institutions in Karnataka. Dr.N.R.Shetty Former Vice Chancellor of Bangalore University is an eminent educationist and the Chairman of NIS, Bangalore. He is the guiding spirit in the continuous success of the institutions.

NIS is a co-educational day and residential school that offers modern facilities of the highest order. It is presently affiliated with CBSE New Delhi, and will soon have IGCSE course too.
