Dr. Jyoti Y.

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Biotechnology at Amity University Jaipur, where I conduct cutting-edge research on the development and detection of multi-drug resistance in bacteria, a topic that has significant implications for human health and global health security. My dissertation aims to identify novel molecular targets and mechanisms of drug resistance, as well as to develop innovative strategies and tools for rapid and accurate diagnosis and surveillance of resistant bacteria.
I have gained valuable hands-on experience in various molecular techniques, such as primer design, DNA extraction, PCR amplification, protein expression and purification, SDS PAGE, electrophoresis, chromatography, isolation and characterization, microscopy, and culturing of bacteria. I have also contributed to multiple publications on drug resistance, demonstrating my ability to conduct data analysis, manuscript preparation, and grant writing. Additionally, I have completed an internship at Reliance Industries Limited, where I applied my analytical biochemistry and bioassay skills to support the biotechnology division. My core competencies include experimental study design, molecular biotechnology, scientific and medical editing, and bioinformatics. I am proficient in English, French, and Hindi, and I have earned certifications in bioinformatics and scientific and medical editing from Udemy. I have also received honors and awards for my paper presentation and team collaboration skills.
