There are different styles in salsa itself, eg. Latin american, ballroom, cha-cha, merengue, etc. there are different levels too, i.e. Beginners, intermediate, expert. you need to select where you want to take yourself. However, if you are looking for several 2-3 sequences to perform in family gatherings, wedding functions,etc than you can go for bollywood couple dancing, its easy and quick to learn. Duration depends on the level you choose from above, however for a basic performance it takes a month(12 sessions), rest also depends on your capabilities. read less
