Guess how many transactions codes all in all SAP application has, as in ECC 6.0 version there are 1,00,000 Transaction codes exist which is a huge number, these transaction codes span accross various modules, applications, DB level activities, BASIS admin functions, Reporting t.codes etc
There are workbench menus for different functional areas ex:
WEDI for EDI functionality
S000 - For Logistics and Sales Functionality
