My answer: He must know about market, must have been in market for a couple of years as an investor or trader. Experience count much more than mere degrees. if one wants to get trained, then one must approach a man who is practical and has vast direct experience with market, not class room alone. read less

If you wish to be a research analyst then a professional degree or MBA with finance is required, or a graduate with 5 years experience in relative field is require, but if you wish to be a training professional for NSIM or NCFM then a graduate and minimum 80% score in your own NISM / NCFM is required

One must have professional qualifications in Finance & Investments, must have NISM or NCFM certification to able to qualify to apply for positions with the above mentioned entities. If one is on his own - an individual trader, then qualifications are not a must, but its good if you have sound knowledge about the field. read less
