From the first one, raise your back and pull your abdomen in and hold it as long as you can. Do this both variation four to five times. Then you can do Bhijangasan. Lie down on your abdomen. Palms close to your chest. Feet together. Inhale and raise your body up like a hoodef cobta and hold it for 10 counts. Practice it four to five rounds. read less

First and foremost, Never learn yoga from books or online when you have a back pain condition. In Human physiology or yoga, Spine is the most important and that is why we call is as Meru danda (We call Himalayas as Meru parvatha) so lots of importance is given to Spine. Around 98% of people who have back pain it's always at the lower back because we haven't use the lower part of the muscles.
